@Septic "I have decided to buy the PS4 due to things such as price, power and its lack of restrictions. I will however, purchase an X1 immediately thereafter."
Uhhh... you're going to buy an X1 even though your reasoning to buy a PS4 completely contradict that same thought?
Well 60 frames is the standard for Racing games in general. I'm sure that Evo. studios is capable of delivering that one PS4.
I really do hope it supports Logitech Wheels though :)
Well if anything goes ary, I can just CANCEL my preorder...
Wow didn't know the PS4Eye was only $60, thanks for the info.
and uhh... Valar Morghullis my friend
The sad thing is, the game is likely to sell less now since its release is surrounded by a number of big-name titles, GTAV being one of them.
They should have just released the game when it was done for the Wii U in the first place, worry about the other consoles later, and kept the fans who were waiting patiently happy. I don't see how holding a game release hostage for 8+ months is going to increase its sales.
A lot of exclusives were announced before Sony's E3 conference. If Killzone, Knack, Infamous, Warframe, Planetside, DCUO, The Witness, Drive Club, all the indy exclusives etc. were announced together at the conference, we'd all be saying PS4 had a stellar lineup of exclusives announced.
Just because PS4's exclusives weren't all announced at E3 doesn't mean they aren't coming
I find it especially strange, that very little credit is being given to Sony for continuing to support their "Last-gen" system, ala PS3. I didn't see any mention of exclusives for the X360 or Wii, (well I guess we can't expect much of the latter) while the PS3 is still pumping out heavy-hitting titles later this year, possibly even past the launch of the PS4.
Beyond and GT6 could have easily been moved to the PS4, in an effort to persuade consumers to "...
Who or what is "error! not found" ??
Gran Turismo 6 is a PS3 game :)
I was pretty surprised they announced the XB1 to be $499. With all the speculation before E3, we pretty much knew it was going to at least be more than the PS4, but $500 is still steep for a console these days.
It's interesting, the PS4 has an internal power supply yet still weighs about a pound less than XB1.
wow thats...very unusual.
I don't really know... But was Microsoft right to block used games and have an online check-in policy?
This is excellent news...
and the conference isnt even over yet
"also the work that we are doing for Planetside 2 on PS4 is going to yield a faster PC version.. much better at multicore support."
That's good to hear. PS2 does have some optimization problems currently
@kneon there's already been a trailer from SOE confirming this yt: /watch?v=Swy0_w8SnxA
I'll hold my reservations until I try out the new controller, though not being able to charge it through usb strikes me a bit as odd. But considering I have a wired controller hooked up to my 360 that I still tend to trip over, I guess I'm in no position to call a battery pack antiquated by any means...
That's usually the case, but these restrictions on how you will now play games (which is still unclear) has made things... complicated.
$400 would be a sweet price, though I wouldn't be too troubled with paying ~$450.
Might I take a gamble at that "invisible" car?
Looks like the 2014 C7 Stingray Corvette
:)
